Title: PM5 Barton Elementary Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $70,720.00 for Barton Elementary School, Modernization Project #0741-7501, and adjust appropriate contracts.

Description:  

This project modification contains the following item:

§        Additional Architectural Services in the amount of $70,720.00.

§        Description: Full-time on site architect’s administration to monitor the construction process.

§        Cause: School District Requested

§        Justification: The project’s construction schedule was compressed, therefore it was necessary to request an onsite architect’s representative to expedite the review and approval process of RFI’s, submittals and changes to the scope of work to keep with the construction schedule and assure on time completion.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project’s Budget is $70,720.00.

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
