Title: CP3 CM at Risk Agreement for Pahokee HS Stadium

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Fee in the amount of $30,320. to Centex Construction, LLC and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Pre-Construction fees for Pahokee High School Stadium, Project No. 1771-8275.

Description:

Construction Management at Risk Services required for construction of a football stadium, track and related facilities at  Pahokee High School.  Construction will include bleachers, press box, ticket booths, concession building, restrooms, football field, running track, track and field equipment, lighting, irrigation, parking and fencing.

Approved Construction Budget: $3,114,219.

Two (2) firms responded to the RFP of which two (2) were shortlisted but firm ranked #2 withdraw from Presentations.  The final ranking of the Selection Committee is as follows: 

(1) Centex Construction, LLC

(2) Kaufmanlynn, Inc.

 

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is $30,320. The source of funds is the project budget.
