Title: FM3. Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)

Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board accept the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

Description:

Each year the District prepares the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), which reflects the audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2005. The CAFR includes three major sections: The Introductory Section, which includes the transmittal letter, certificates of achievement, list of principal officers and an organizational chart; the Financial Section, which includes the audit opinion of the external auditors, KPMG, management's discussion and analysis, the basic financial statements, notes to the financial statements, as well as combining financial information; and the Statistical Section, which includes various economic information of the District and the County.

Financial Impact:
There is no FInancial Impact to the School District.
