Osprey Charter Middle School proposes to provide students with a world-class learning opportunity by maintaining a caring learning environment; working with parents and the local community to develop the intellect and character of the students who choose to attend the school; utilizing innovative teaching techniques delivered by a superior faculty; and offering a challenging curriculum that prepares children for lives of leadership in a rapidly changing world. The school will be a feeder pattern school to Chancellor Charter School at Lantana.
The application is reviewed by various departments (i.e. Facilities, Transportation, Accounting, Title 1, ESE, etc). Each department uses the respective component of the established rubric to asses the application.
Acceptable applications scored at least 136 points or 90% on the rubric.
This application received 114 points which equals 75% and was denied by the review board. The unacceptable areas are as follows:
