Title: National Board Certified Teachers

Description: Research has shown that the quality of the teacher is the single most significant factor in student achievement.  The School District recognizes the 96 new National Board Certified teachers.  The School District now has 593 National Board Certified teachers.  Two National Board Certified teachers, Jerry Holt and Elaine Stecker, will also be recognized for their further achievements.  National Board Certification is the highest credential available in the teaching profession and is a symbol of teaching excellence.
