Title: CP2 Term Contract for Underground Utility Locating Services

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the award of a Term Contract for Underground Utility Locating Services to High Tech Engineering, Inc. from February 16, 2006 through February 15, 2009 in the amount not to exceed $300,000. which may, by mutual agreement between the School Board and the awardee, be renewable for two additional one-year periods.  I further recommend that the Board, authorize the use of the next lowest bidder(s) meeting the same conditions in the event the original awardee cannot fulfill their contract. 

Description:

To contract with a firm to provide Underground Utility Locating Services in support of construction projects throughout the School District.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $300,000. various funds. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects
