Title: CC9 Consultant Agreements with Page Turner Adventures

Recommendation:
I recommend approval of consultant contracts with Page Turner Adventures in various schools and authorize the Board Chairman and Superintendent to sign all needed documents for this program.

Description:

Page Turner Adventurers offers FCAT live motivational shows.  These shows are literacy based for elementary level students. 

Several Schools have expressed an interest in hiring this vendor for these FCAT motivational shows.

Financial Impact:
The additional estimated expenditure through June 30, 2006 is $10,000.  This vendor has been contracted by various schools for an initial $10,000 as allowed by Board Policy.   The fees for each live performance is $500. The funding will be from various sources including internal funds, school and district budgets.
