Title: Kevin Kuschel Officer of the Year

Description: School Police Detective Kevin Kuschel has received the Florida Attorney General's Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award for 2005.  Detective Kuschel's expertise led to substantial inroads against gang activity within Palm Beach County schools and throughout Florida.  Through his gang awareness initiatives, he has brought this serious problem to the attention of the community and the state, assisted in numerous arrests, and produced a dramatic reduction in gang-related activity.
