Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Reduction of Retainage from 10% to .03% for Santaluces High School, Auditorium Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

Santaluces High School – Auditorium Project #1611-8272 

§         Description: On Santaluces High School, the Contractor, Weitz Company, has achieved Substantial Completion on November 9, 2004, and requested a Reduction of Retainage from 10% to .03%; the Architect and District staff recommends this reduction.

The General Contractor has requested, and the Architect and Staff have recommended, Final Payment and Final Acceptance.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $0.00.
