Title: Recommendation: In accordance with the Alert submitted by the Greater Florida Consortium of School Boards and pursuant to School Board Policy 2.591, Call to Action, I recommend that the Board adopt the attached resolution and authorize the district to participate in a cohesive advocacy campaign focusing on educating legislators, parents and others on the need for the Legislature to raise Florida’s per pupil spending from the bottom 10% nationally to the national average.
