Title: CP5 Approval of Add’l Expenditures for Roofing Contractors

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve an additional expenditure for the awarded contracts for Roofing Contractor Services to Advanced Roofing, Inc., Hi-Tech Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., National Roofing/South Florida, Inc. and Weiss & Woolrich So. Ent, Inc.

Description:

Additional funds are needed for the awarded Term Contracts for Roofing Contractor Services to be used for the selection of the vendor on a rotation basis for roofs damaged by Hurricane Wilma.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact for this recommendation is not to exceed $15,000,000. The total authorization for this award to date will be $24,000,000.  (75% FEMA reimbursement, 12.5% State of Florida and 12.5% Capital Project Budget)
