Title: Melanie Kabinoff Discovery Channel Young Scientist Winner

Description: Melanie Kabinoff,  a freshman at Park Vista High School, was one of 40 top young scientific minds from across the country who recently participated in the seventh annual Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge.  She was presented the "Discovery Educator Award," as the finalist who demonstrated an outstanding ability to engage and capture the imagination of her audience with her science project on Melanoma treatments.
