Title: PM1 Retainage and Final for Grassy Waters (02-T)

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the credit amount of ($249,228.20), and approve Reduction of Retainage from 5% to 0% approve Final Payment and ratify Final Acceptance for Grassy Waters Elementary School (02-T), Construction Management at Risk Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

This project modification contains the following item:

Item #1
• COPR #2: in the credit amount of ($249, 228.20).
• Description: Credit for Reimbursables.
• Cause: School District Request per Contract Documents.
• Justification: Reimbursable funds remaining from General Conditions and Contingency.

Item #2
• Description: The Project Architect has certified that Grassy Waters Elementary School, under contract with James B. Pirtle Construction, achieved Final Completion on November 17, 2004.

The General Contractor has requested, and the Architect and Staff have recommended, Final Payment and Final Acceptance.

• All punch list items have been completed!

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the Project's Budget is ($249,228.20).
