Celebrating 10 Years Of Wellness
In FY15 thirty-eight of our elementary schools earned the bronze level distinction for the HealthierUS School Challenge. As part of that award they received a plaque, a banner and a $500 monetary award. In March of 2016, the monetary funds for this honor were received. To redeem this award, our schools were provided two options to choose from – a Nutrition Kit and a Garden Kit. In both cases a variety of items were provided for schools to choose from. Thirty-two of our schools chose the Garden Kit and six schools chose the Nutrition Kit.
