Problem Solving School Based Teams
The Department of Safe Schools encompasses a wide range of programs and initiatives to ensure safe and supportive learning environments, thus increasing academic success for all students in Palm Beach County. These initiatives directly support the staff and schools in Palm Beach County in an effort t to remove barriers to student learning.
Problem Solving/School Based Team (PS/SBT) data is collected annually from school centers across the county. School Based Team Leaders compile this data in an effort to show not only the caseload, but how many students are responding positively to interventions that are provided. 153 schools across Palm Beach County submitted their PS/SBT data. 96 of those schools were comprehensive elementary schools, 30 were comprehensive middle schools and 19 were comprehensive high schools. 2 Alternative Education sites and 6 charter schools submitted their data.
