Evaluate menu for current and future freshly prepared menu offerings - 1 of 3 years
This strategy focused on finding ways to continue infusing fresh ingredients into our menus. The recipes built upon utilizing existing ingredients in our kitchen to increase our speed scratch portfolio. In addition, we have researched diverse flavor profiles to include more culturally ethnic dishes into our menu.
The following recipes were tested this year in the SFS Central Office and out in school sites for possible infusion into the menu in FY18:

Additionally, we created an Egg Bake that was served at all elementary schools on March 2nd. Children across the district enjoyed “Green Eggs & Ham” in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
