Using industry guidance, each year the School Food Service Department establishes benchmarks that the managers and the central office team use to determine the standards by which each school's performance will be measured.
There are participation benchmarks for breakfast and lunch. Additionally, we monitor the cost of food, materials and supplies, labor, and benefits against the revenue for each program.
