Further develop and implement the meal/dining reengineering concepts - Ongoing

Santaluces Community High School was selected as the third high school to receive the Reengineering Program. The renovated cafeteria successfully opened on August 17, 2015, resulting in a 27% increase in lunches served versus the prior year.

Royal Palm Beach High School was selected as the fourth high school to receive the Reengineering Program which is scheduled to open on August 15, 2016. Harvard Jolly Architectural firm was retained to develop and draft the drawings for the construction bid.??On March 16, 2016 the Board approved the construction bid to KAST Construction. School Food Service, Program Management, KAST, and Harvard Jolly have been working closely together to coordinate the project. Demolition began on June 3, 2015.

To ensure the on-time completion of??projects of this magnitude, two years of planning is required. Palm Beach Central High School has??been selected to be the fifth school to receive the program. The Board approved this project on November 17, 2015. The design process is underway.
