Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve Reduction of Retainage (for Phase I) from 10% to 5%, for Roosevelt Elementary School, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Roosevelt Elementary School Modernization Project #0341-8260

• Description: On Roosevelt Elementary School, the Contractor, James A. Cummings, achieved Substantial Completion on August 9, 2004, and has now requested a Reduction of Retainage (for Phase I)  from 10% to 5%; the Architect and District staff recommends this reduction.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $0.00.
