Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $441,685.00 for Seminole Ridge High School (02-NNN), Construction Management at Risk Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

Seminole Ridge High School (02-NNN) CM@Risk Project #3861-8292

• Additional Architectural Services in the amount of $21,685.00

• Description:  The additional architectural services are the following:

• Justification:

Item A - The design and permit fees is for the engineering necessary to access
the school site, while the county completes the widening of Pratt Whitney Road.

Items B - Sports field lighting design and construction cost will be funded by a grant from the county.

Item C - Bleacher revisions were request to provide special seating for supporters.

• Construction costs are estimated to be approximately $ 420,000.00.

Financial Impact:

Financial impact to the project budget is $441,685.00.

The source of funds for the sports field lighting will come from Capital Contingency and will be reimbursed by Palm Beach County.
