Title: AC8 Interagency Agreement with the Health Care District

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board consider the approval of the amendment to share data with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County effective May 19, 2005 through May 18, 2010 and authorize the Superintendent or designee to sign all documents related to the agreement.

Description:

4     The School District and the Health Care District of Palm Beach County have both prioritized school success of children.  In order to plan for future programs it is necessary to determine if students are benefiting from current ones.

4     The sharing of data with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County will allow for the assessment of individual programs that have been created to serve the students in the School District.

4     The Health Care District of Palm Beach County has a legitimate educational interest in data so they can use it to evaluate research and develop programs that will promote student success. 

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund Budget.
