Title: PM5 Project Modifications for Hammock Pointe

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $114,527.51 for Hammock Pointe Elementary School, Addition and HVAC Retrofit Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

Hammock Pointe Elementary School, Addition and HVAC Retrofit Project #2081-8274

This project modification contains the following item:

• CCD #1 in the amount of $ 114,527.51
• Description:  Completely excavate the foot print of Buildings 1, 5a, 8, 10, and 11 because of unsuitable material found, remove from site, and import suitable material for building pads and footers in these areas.
• Cause: Unforeseen Condition.
• Justification: To supply a base that will support the proposed building

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $114,527.51.
