Title: P1 Maintenance and Technical Support – School Link Technologies, Inc.

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the annual payment of terminal maintenance and technical support to School Link Technologies, Inc., and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

Approve the annual payment of terminal maintenance and technical support to School Link Technologies, Inc., the manufacturer, in the not-to-exceed amount of $77,166.

·      Cost includes maintenance / repair or replacement of all School Link Technologies Systems equipment located at all District cafeterias and the School Food Service office.

·      School Link Technologies, Inc. will provide a toll-free technical support line, yearly upgrades and improvements on software.

·      The District requires maintenance and support at 166 food service sites and the central office for a total of 642 point-of-sale stations.

·      Contract period is July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the District Budget is estimated at $77,166.  The source of funds is the School Food Service Department budget.
