Title: P5 RFP 01C-014SN, FINANCIAL ADVISOR SERVICES

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of renewal of RFP 01C-014SN for Financial Advisor Services and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

Approve the renewal of RFP 01C-014SN for Financial Advisor Services.

·      Request for Proposal No. 01C-014S was awarded by Board action on September 21, 2001 to Public Financial Management for three years from September 20, 2001 through September 19, 2004 with the option to renew for three addi­tional one-year periods.

·      The first option to renew was exercised for the period September 20, 2004 through September 19, 2005.  By Board action on January 16, 2002, the estimated expenditure was increased by $15,000. 

·      The second option to renew is now being exercised for the period September 20, 2005 through September 19, 2006.

·      Public Financial Management has agreed to honor terms, conditions and pricing of existing con­tract for the forth­coming contract period.   

·      Services to be provided are financial advisory services.

·      The Finance Committee has approved this recommendation.

 

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the District Budget.  The source of funds is the proceeds from the Issuance of Debt.
