Title: CP1 Design/Build Agreement for Indian Ridge Replacement School and CEP Academy Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve a Design/Build Fee in the amount of $23,680,807. to the Morganti Group and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Indian Ridge Replacement School and CEP Academy.
Description: Design and construction of a combined total of 146,455 GSF replacement for Indian Ridge School and new CEP Academy. Both facilities will be located on the existing Indian Ridge School site located at Okeechobee Blvd., and Benoist Farms Road.
Approved Total Project Budget: $20,000,000
Approved budget for design and construction of project: $18,429,000.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $23,680,807. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget. To complete the project additional funds in the amount of $7,461,306. will be required to increase design/construction, FF&E, facility support and miscellaneous other. $1,000,000. will be provided by grant funds and $6,461,306. will be transferred from Capital Contingency. The Builder's Risk Insurance will be provided by the District at a cost of $168,163. Supplemental Professional Responsibility Insurance is covered by the District's Owner's Protective Professional Indemnity Policy at a premium of $49,222.
