Title: CP6 Term Contract for Roofing Contractors

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve award of Term Contract and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Roofing Contractor Services to Advanced Roofing, Inc., Hi-Tech Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., National Roofing/South Florida, Inc. and Weiss & Woolrich So. Ent., Inc. from June 30, 2005 through June 29, 2007 and may, by mutual agreement between the School board and the awardee, be renewable for three additional one-year periods.

Description: The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to enter into a contract with Certified Roofing Contractors licensed in the State of Florida or Palm Beach County and pre-qualified by the District who will serve the District for the performance of re-roofing, waterproofing and or repair projects for school district buildings.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $9,000,000 various funds.  In addition, should we have an emergency need, funds used will be reported to the Board in accordance with Policy 6.14.
