Title: CP4 Renewal of Continuing Contract with six (6) Construction Testing and Geotechnical Consultants

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve the renewal of continuing contract to Nodarse & Associates, Inc., Professional Services Industries, Inc., Tierra, Inc., Dunkelberger Engineering and Testing, Inc., Testing Lab of the Palm Beaches, Inc., GFA International in the amount of not to exceed $1,000,000. for a period of one (1) year from June 30, 2005 through June 29, 2006.

Description:

Provide Professional Services to the District for projects in which construction costs do not exceed $1,000,000 for study activities when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000; or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by the District.

Tierra, Inc. M/WBE (Asian Owned Firm)
Dunkelberger Engineering and Testing, Inc. 15%

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is from various funds in an amount of not to exceed $1,000,000.  The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget.
