Title: Description: The Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) Scholarship program was implemented to assist the District to "Grow Its Own Teachers." Funds for the program are raised through voluntary payroll deduction or contributions. Donations are tax deductible and 100% of the monies donated goes directly to scholarships. Qualified high school seniors and noninstructional employees who want to become teachers can compete for the scholarship, which provides $750 a semester for up to five years. As a condition of the FFEA scholarship, the scholarship recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above and agree to return to Palm Beach County to teach.
