Title: P4 RFP 05C-010N for Environmental Consulting Services

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of RFP 05C-010N, Environmental Consulting Services and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

Approve the award of RFP 05C-010N for Environmental Consulting Services, in the not-to-exceed amount of $500,000.

·      RFP 05C-010N for Environmental Consulting Services was solicited on May 2, 2005.  A total of 65 vendors were notified of the availability of the RFP.  Responses received totaled 14.

·      The Evaluation Committee, consisting of District staff, convened and reviewed proposals and recommended awards based upon the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP.

·      It was the recommendation of the Committee to award to Evans Environmental, Handex of Florida, QORE, Universal Environmental and URS.

·      Services to be provided include environmental consulting services throughout the District.

·      Copies of the RFP documents are attached.   

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the Capital Budget is estimated at $500,000.  The source of funds is the Environmental Control Office budget.
