Title: CC1 Consultant Contract for Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees

Recommendation:

I recommend award of the consultant contract with Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description:

The consultant shall perform the following services: FAU Teacher Training Partnership proposes to provide Palm Beach County teachers with the five courses that comprise the ESOL Endorsement to the Florida Teaching certificate.  Providing that teachers meet FAU’s graduate school entrance criteria, they may pursue a M.Ed. which, in addition to the 15 credit hours of the ESOL cerif.  Endorsement consists of seven courses.
