Title: Recommendation: I recommend that the School Board accept the Superintendents Annual Financial Report (SAFR). Description: The Florida Department of Education (DOE) requires that school districts submit an Annual Financial Report for each year. In compliance with this requirement, the District prepares the Superintendent’s Annual Financial Report (SAFR), which reflects the unaudited financial statements for the year ended June 30. Attached is the Superintendent’s Annual Financial Report to the Commissioner of Education for the year ended June 30, 2005, revised. This document has been previously approved and was revised to align the financial contents with the audited statements, as appropriate.
