Title: AC4-Memorandum of Agreement with Prevention Partnerships for Children (PPS)

Recommendation:
I recommend that the School Board approve the Memorandum of Agreement with Prevention Partnerships for Children, Inc., to fund a full-time position (Specialist in Evaluation and Test Development) at no cost to the School District.

Description:

• The Prevention Partnerships for Children, Inc. will continue to fund a full-time Level 2 Specialist position to conduct statistical analysis and evaluations of district programs funded by the Children's Services Council.
• The Memorandum of Agreement between the School Board and Prevention Partnerships for Children, Inc. renews the previously approved Memorandum of Agreement that expired on September 30, 2006.
• The Memorandum of Agreement between the School Board and Prevention Partnerships for Children, Inc. will be in effect from November 22, 2006 through September 30, 2007. 
• The Memorandum of Agreement will automatically renew after one year for an additional one-year period, (October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008) on the same terms and conditions unless terminated by the School Board or Prevention Partnerships for Children, Inc.
