Title: Recommendation: Based on satisfactory performance during the past contract period, it is recommended that the RFP for PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Services be renewed with Cross Country Staffing, Lori Deyo-Obler, Private Care Inc. (now known as All Metro Health Care), and Pro-Tech Search for the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. Description: P2 Approve renewal of 04C-014B RFP for Physical and Occupational Therapy Services · Request for Proposal No. 04C-014B was awarded by Board action on May 19, 2004, to Cross Country Staffing, Interim Therapy Services, Lori Deyo-Obler, Private Care Inc., and Pro-Tech Search for three years from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2007 with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. · The first option to renew is now being exercised for the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. · By Board action on July 19, 2006, the estimated expenditure was increased by $2,908,000. · Cross Country Staffing, Lori Deyo-Obler, Private Care Inc. (now known as All Metro Health Care) and Pro-Tech Search have agreed to honor terms, conditions and pricing of existing contract for the forthcoming contract period. Interim Therapy Services did not wish to renew their contract. · Services to be provided include physical and occupational therapy services for students ages 3 through 22 who qualify for services as Exceptional Student Education under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
