Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Services Fee in the amount of $532,391 to James B. Pirtle Construction Co., Inc. and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Jupiter Farms Area Middle School, Project No. 0041-8383. Description: Construction Management @ Risk Services required for Preconstruction Phase Services including design review and recommendation to establish a Guaranteed Maximum Price for construction of a grades 5 through 8, 1014 student station, 750 student program capacity, approximately 155,519 GSF middle school with related site and athletic facilities. Construction will be in accordance with the Educational Specifications approved by the Board on January 24, 2007, and contingent upon receipt of funds from the State for class size reduction. Estimated Budget for Construction: $33,005,000. Construction Type: To be determined during Preconstruction Phase No. of Stories: To be determined during Preconstruction Phase. Gross Square Feet: 155,519 Estimated Total New Student Stations: 1014 Estimated Construction Cost/Student Station: $32,514.
