Title: CP-5 Renewal of Castaldi Reporting Services

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the renewal of Continuing Contract for Castaldi Reporting Consultant Services to BRPH Architects Engineers, Inc. on projects that the construction budgets are less than $1,000,000, for studies whereby professional fees do not exceed $50,000. This renewal period will be from April 20, 2007 through April 19, 2008.

Description:

Approval of the first of two additional one-year renewal periods for Castaldi Reporting Consultant Services on a “Continuing Contract” basis. This contract is for School District projects having construction budgets of less than $1,000,000. This Contract is for study activity when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000, or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by the District.  

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is from various funds in an amount not to exceed $200,000 per year. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget.
