Title: CP-7 Renewal of Survey Engineering on Continuing Contract

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the renewal of Continuing Contract for Survey Engineering to Adair & Brady, Inc., Arcadis, Bowyer-Singleton & Associates, Inc., Heller-Weaver and Sheremeta, Inc., Keith and Schnars, P.A., and SFRN, Inc., for Survey Engineering Services on projects that the construction budgets are less than $1,000,000, for studies whereby professional fees do not exceed $50,000. This renewal period will be from April 20, 2007 through April 19, 2008.

Description:

Approval of the first of two one-year renewals for Survey Engineering on a “Continuing Contract” basis. This contract is for School District projects having construction budgets of less than $1,000,000. This Contract is for study activity when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000, or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract is required by the District.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is from various funds in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00 per year. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget.
