Title: AC2-Consider Approval of the Amendment to the Communications Tower Lease Agreement

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve the Amendment to the Communications Tower Lease Agreement between Florida Power & Light Company and the School Board of Palm Beach County.

Description:

• On July 1, 1992, the School District entered into a Communications Tower Lease Agreement with the Florida Power & Light Company (FP&L) regarding the placement of radio communications equipment on the FP&L radio communications tower located on the FP&L site at 2400 Port Road West, Riviera Beach, Fl.
• The School District desires to place additional radio communications equipment on that tower to improve radio communications efficiency in the north end of Palm Beach County.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the School District.
