Title: P2 Approve 07C-008B RFP for Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Services

Recommendation:

I recommend contract award be made to the highest rated, responsive, responsible proposer based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP.

Description:

P2   Approve 07C-008B RFP for Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Services

·      Services to be provided include psychiatric services at Indian Ridge School for their students or students being considered for the eligibility of severely emotionally disturbed (SED). This will also include child/adolescent psychiatric services on a consultant basis for review and recommendations regarding Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students. The fee for this service will be firm at $150 per hour for the first year and increase by 1% for each year thereafter.

·       The Evaluation Committee, consisting of District staff, convened and reviewed all responsive proposals.  It was the recommendation of the Committee to award this contract to the highest rated proposer, Parent-Child Center.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the IDEA Grant budget is estimated at $959,175.00.  The source of funds is the Exceptional Student Education budget.
