Title: Recommendation: Description: CC5 Changes made to the agreement are as follows: Extend current contract from June 5, 2007 to June 30, 2007 to allow for service provision during the Extended School Year (ESY) at Indian Ridge School for approximately 29 students following the established ESY calendar and hours. Increase amount of current contract, initially approved September 27, 2006 by $4,620 from $235,400 to $240,020 to pay for a Speech Pathologist to fill a vacancy for up to 15 days of service, 7.0 hours per day with a .5 hour unpaid lunch for a total of no more than 105 hours at a rate of $55 per hour for a monolingual therapist or $57 per hour for a bilingual therapist. The first amendment to this contract was executed on October 16, 2006 to add two additional Speech Pathologists. The second amendment was executed on November 21, 2006 to increase contract amount by $63,000 form $80,000 to $143,000 to cover cost of the added Speech Pathologists. A third amendment was approved by the Board on January 24, 2007 to increase contract by $92,400 from $143,000 to $235,400 to pay for up to two additional Speech Pathologists to fill vacant positions.
