Title: PM3 Liberty Park Elementary Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $56,966.00 for Liberty Park Elementary School, Classroom Addition Project #1871-8376, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

• CCD #2 in the amount of $56,966.00.
• Description:  Relocate and replace existing 3” water and backflow assembly.
• Cause: Outside Agency – Palm Beach County Water Utility District (PBCWUD)
• Justification: The existing water meter had to be re-located due to a conflict with the new covered walkway. The as-built drawings did not correctly identify the location of the existing water meter.  The PBCWUD requested that the water meter be moved to a location where it would be accessible. 

Financial Impact:

The Financial Impact to the Project’s Budget is $56,966.00.

The source of funds is Capital Contingency.
