Title: PM5 Rolling Green Elementary Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $219,746.00 and for the addition of five (5) non-compensable calendar days for Rolling Green Elementary School, CM@Risk Project #0781-7508, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

 

  • CCD #1 in the amount of $219,746.00 and for the addition of five (5) non-compensable calendar days.
  • Description:  Add a lift station to connect the site sanitary sewer system into the City manhole on N.E. 26th Ave.   Extend the project schedule by an additional five (5) days.   Revise the Substantial Completion date from June 30, 2007 to July 4, 2007 and the Final Completion date from October 29, 2007 to November 3, 2007.
  • Cause:  Unforeseen Condition
  • Justification:  The actual elevation of the City connection point was one (1) foot higher than what was shown on the survey.  Therefore, a gravity feed into the city sewer system would no longer work and a lift station was required. 

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $219,746.00

 

The source of funds is Restricted Reserve.
