Title: PM6 Seminole Ridge Community High

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $18,000.00 for Seminole Ridge Community High School (02-NNN), CM@Risk Project #3861-8292, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

• Additional Architectural Services in the amount of $18,000.00.
• Description:  Provide design for a second elevator.  The scope of work includes all architectural, structural, civil and MEP design.
• Cause:  School District Requested
• Justification:  The school presently has one elevator.  Because of the size of the campus, the travel time from a 1st floor location to the elevator and then to a 2nd floor location (or vice versa) can be excessive. Only one elevator was required by code. 
• Construction costs are estimated to be $400,000.00.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $18,000.00

The source of funds is Minor Projects.
