Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve an Agreement for Construction Management at Risk Services and Preconstruction Phase Services Fee in the amount of $117,055. to W. G. Mills, Inc., and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Pre-Construction fees for West Tech Educational Center Project No. 1591-8381. Description: Construction Management at Risk services required to implement the facility modifications and academic program changes required to convert the Estimated Budget for Construction: $10,191,749. (Five Year Capital Plan) Construction Type: NA (Remodeling) No. of Stories: NA (Remodeling) Gross Square Feet: 68,390 (existing space to be renovated) Estimated Total New Student Stations: 778 Estimated Construction Cost/Student Station: $13,100. Preconstruction Phase Services Fee: $81,930. Reimbursable Expenses: $35,125. Total: $117.055. Four (4) firms responded to the RFP of which three (3) were shortlisted. The final ranking of the Selection Committee is as follows: (1) W.G. Mills, Inc. (2) The Weitz Company (3) Heery International, Inc. Financial Impact: The financial impact is $117,055.
