Title: CP-6 Renewal of Roofing Contractor Services

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the renewal of Continuing Contract for Roofing Contractor Services to Advanced Roofing, Inc., Hi-Tech Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., National Roofing of South Florida, Inc., and Weiss & Woolrich Southern Enterprises, Inc. This renewal period will be from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.

Description:

Approval of the first of three additional one-year renewal periods for Roofing Contractor Services on a Continuing Contract basis. This contract is for services and various facets of general roofing needs requested by the District on an as needed basis as well as for emergency services in the event of a hurricane, tornado, etc.

Minority Sub-consultant Participation: 15%

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is Not to Exceed $5,000,000. from Hurricane and Project funds. In addition, should we have an emergency need funds used will be reported to the Board in accordance with Policy 6.14.
