Title: CC 7 Consultant Contract for Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees

Recommendation:
 I recommend award of the Consultant contract with Florida Atlantic University for $221,638.00 effective July 1, 2007 through June  30, 2008 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents. 

Description: CC 7 The Consultant shall perform the following services: FAU Teacher Training Partnership will provide Palm Beach County teachers with the five courses that comprise the ESOL Endorsement to the Florida Teaching certificate.  Providing that teachers meet FAU's graduate school entrance criteria, they may pursue an M.Ed. which, in addition to the 15 credit hours of the ESOL certificate, consists of seven courses.
