Title: PM7 Starlight Cove Elementary School Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the credit amount of ($365,672.68) for Starlight Cove Elementary School, Class Size Reduction Project #0771‑8950, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

 

This project modification contains the following item:

 

  • COPR #1 in the credit amount of $365,672.68
  • Description:
    • Unused General Conditions  $18, 627.53
    • Dumpster allowance not used $14,717.29
    • Temporary Water allowance not used $1,280.45
    • Un-purchased scope $235,328.55
    • Building Department comments allowance not used $62,376.37
    • Construction Contingency not used $33,342.49.
  • Cause: School District Requested
  • Justification:  Money returned to School District of Palm Beach County.

Financial Impact:

The Financial Impact to the Project’s Budget is a credit of ($365,672.68).
