Title: PM9 Palm Springs ES Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $160,991.46 for Palm Springs Elementary School, Modernization Project #0651-8262, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

 

  • CCD #4 in the amount of $160,991.46.
  • Description: For repairs performed by Turner Construction caused by Hurricane Jeanne and Frances in 2004.
  • Cause: Unforeseen Conditions.
  • Justification: Damages occurred after substantial completion. 

Financial Impact:

The Financial Impact to the Project’s Budget is 160,991.46.

 

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
