Title: PM10 Panther Run ES School Project Modifications

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the Not-to-Exceed amount of $17,089.69 for Panther Run Elementary, Classroom Addition Project #2161-8378, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

• Architectural Additional Services in the Not-to-Exceed amount of $17,089.69
• Description: Added scope to design and inspect the water line tie-in to the Village of Wellington water main in the right-of-way of Lake Worth Road.
• Cause: Outside Agency
• Justification:  The Village of Wellington required the engineer of record to redesign the water tie-in and add tie back restraints. Originally the new water connection was to be at an existing hydrant. The hydrant line did not have the required restraints. Two lanes of the road were cut back after hours to install the new connection with the proper restraints.

Financial Impact:

The Financial Impact to the Project’s Budget is a Not-to-Exceed of $17,089.69.

The source of funds is Restricted Reserve.
