Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve an Amendment to the Construction Management at Risk Agreement to establish the Phase 2 Final Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for construction in the amount of $9,847,250. to Hedrick Bros. Construction Company, Inc. for Banyan Creek Elementary School Classroom Addition, Project No. 1891-8307 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents. Description: Construction Management @ Risk Services required for Phase 2 final construction of a 45,052 gross square foot, 500 student station classroom addition at Banyan Creek Elementary School in accordance with permitted design documents and the Educational Specifications approved by the Board on July 19, 2006. Estimated Construction Budget: $10,526,965. (Five Year Capital Plan) Number of Stories: One Construction Type: CMU Gross Square Feet: 45,052 Budgeted Total Construction Cost per Total Actual Construction Cost per Gross Square Foot: $233.(Phase 1 & 2) Building Only Cost per Student Stations: 500 Budgeted Total Construction Cost per Student Station: $21,054.
