In cooperation with Alternative Education principals DJJ-P&CC will assign JPOs to each of the Department of Alternative Education school centers to provide interventions as described in probation orders or exit plans. School Based team meetings will include the assigned JPOs to provide information as to which services DJJ can include in the treatment for the youth and the family. The JPO will be the SBPBC’s primary contact for all juvenile offenders who are court- ordered to be under the supervision of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (“DJJ”).
Although backdating agreements is not our standard practice, it was necessary in this particular case due to contract negotiations. It does not prejudice the rights of the School Board.
